Uses: Sucrose polystearate is a bio-based plasticizer, which can improve flexibility and plasticity, form hydrogen bonds with starch, protein, cellulose, etc., and improve the compatibility of plasticizer and matrix, and has high environmental protection, good thermal stability and migration resistance. As a plasticizer, it is used to make edible film/coating from starch, gelatin or chitosan-based film, mixed with starch or cellulose to make medical environmental protection packaging materials, and used in brittle bioplastics such as polylactic acid (PLA), etc.
